Benvenuti all’edizione di fine Novembre di Microstock in sintesi. Grazie a
coloro che seguono la rubrica, in particolare alla redazione di Jumper che ha
segnalato l’edizione di Ottobre su twitter (@jumperbuzz). Proprio nei
giorni della chiusura dell’edizione scorsa sono uscite un paio di notizie
che riporto come apertura.
A fine Ottobre si sono svolti a New York il PhotoPlus Expo e il Business of
Microstock panel, eventi caratterizzati dalla presenza di molte aziende e
personaggi di spicco del mondo microstock. Vi segnalo alcuni articoli che
riportano una sintesi degli interventi e sono utili per capire quale
direzione stia prendendo questa industria:

Fotolia, le più vendute del 2009
ROMA, 14 gennaio 2010 – Anche al prezzo di 1€, la vendita di immagini
continua a generare guadagni a sei cifre per i maggiori fotografi mondiali,
perfino in un anno di crisi come quello appena concluso. Le tre immagini più
vendute su Fotolia sono state acquistate circa 10.000 volte lo scorso anno.
Tutte le immagini top sellers hanno un costo variabile da 1 a 20€, a
seconda delle dimensioni.

Fotolia launches a strong operation to attract “big” contributors. With
the slogan “Gain instantaneous recognition with Fotolia!”, Operation

Eastern Europe (Micro)Stock is rising up

With a title that wants to paraphrase a stock market index trend , I’m
going to point out 2 different news that are showing the expansion of the
photographic microstock business in the Eastern Europe, also considering that
Dreamstime is headquartered in Romania, Microstocksolutions has offices in
Hungary and Romania, Pixmac has recently launched the Polish site and
certainly other microstock activities are well hosted there.
