morgueFile.com, the quintessential free images archive, has unveiled a new
site design with new features to serve the emerging needs of the creative
community for years to come. Finding images and using them is more seamless
on the new site. Additional sections were added for presentations and photo
sharing. We moved to new servers and more robust backend.
morgueFile was established in 2002 and now has over 200,000 free images and
60,000 registered users. The term “morgue file” is popular in the
newspaper business to describe the file that holds past issues flats.
morgueFile is unique from other free photo sites because there is no required
registration to access the archive and the license that governs the archive

After a few months since the launch, Depositphotos is continuing its fast
growing with a strong campaign of advertising on the net and with the
introduction of a boosting affiliation program… you can find
Depositphotos’ affiliation link everywhere, here too
Here an Alexa graph useful to compare the reference, iStock, with the two
fast growing agency among the newcomers, Pixmac and Depositphotos (as I wrote
many times, I use these data to see trends and relative market positions,
they are not necessarily representing the business volumes).

Picz.us is the new URL shortener service created by Rob Davies focused on the
microstock images and using your affiliation codes. Another good piece of
code by the picNiche author
The Picz.us link shortener is aimed at people who would like to share their
internet URLs whilst encouraging their visitors to browse and purchase
related images from online stock photography libraries.
When you sign up, you add your affiliate ID to your profile for each of the
agencies in the system, if you make a short URL to any image, search page, or

Michael Krabs of Zoonar, the German Stock Agency, has just announced on
MicrostockGroup Forum that “Zoonar now offers Alamy as a new option in the
partner control for photos in the price categories normal and premium. A new
partner for all microstock photos is also in the implementation process. We
will communicate right here when we have finished the inclusion.” This
option is added to the already present partnership with Fotofinder GmbH,
Polylooks, APIS Network.

A digression in the Right Managed photo world to present ALLTO1, a
small-scale agency based in Estonia with the intention of being able to react
promptly to customers’ requests with the flexibility and individuality of
their services. Images are monitored for high quality and suitable
content. No Royalty-Free or microstock photo business is utilized. ALLTO1’s
motto: We believe in good photography!
